Admissions

December 2–3, 2026

A prep-school admissions leader has devoted her career to building a more diverse institution—until her son's college ambitions force her principles into painfully personal territory. About the Show

Admissions

Sherri Rosen-Mason leads admissions at an elite New England prep school, where she has worked to move a tradition-bound institution toward a more diverse future. But when her talented son sets his sights on an Ivy League university and receives an outcome the family did not expect, the values Sherri champions at work collide with ambition at home.

Joshua Harmon’s award-winning play refuses easy answers as it turns one family’s crisis into a fierce conversation about race, power, opportunity, and hypocrisy. Sharp, timely, and often startlingly funny, Admissions invites audiences to recognize themselves in the gap between what people believe and what they want.
