About the Show
Peter and the Starcatcher
A nameless orphan and two companions are sent from Victorian England aboard a ship bound for a distant island. There they meet Molly, a quick-witted Starcatcher-in-training who knows that a mysterious trunk aboard the ship contains starstuff, a celestial substance that can transform anyone who encounters it.
When the fearsome pirate Black Stache sets out to seize the treasure, the travelers are swept into a wildly theatrical chase across the sea. Told through inventive stagecraft, music, and an ensemble of colorful characters, Peter and the Starcatcher imagines the origins of Peter Pan while exploring friendship, courage, duty, and the difficult choice to grow up.
