About the Show
Curtains!
In 1959, Boston’s Colonial Theatre is celebrating the opening night of a Broadway-bound musical when its leading lady dies onstage. The company is ordered to remain inside while Lieutenant Frank Cioffi investigates, turning a backstage world of rivalries, romances, and theatrical ambition into a lively field of suspects.
Cioffi is not only a detective but an enthusiastic musical-theatre fan, and he soon finds himself helping repair the show as he searches for the killer. With more danger waiting in the wings, Curtains! blends a classic whodunit with a comic valentine to everyone determined to put on a show.
