Westerville South High School Theatre Boosters Inc. (the “Boosters,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates wshstheatre.org to share information about Westerville South Theatre productions, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, sponsorships, and troupe activities. This policy explains how information may be handled when you use this website.
This policy applies only to wshstheatre.org. It does not govern the Westerville City School District, the school-managed theatre website, or services operated by other organizations.
Information We Collect
This website does not currently offer user accounts, accept payments directly, or use first-party forms. We do not currently use advertising trackers or a first-party analytics service.
You may voluntarily provide information—such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message—when you contact the Boosters by email. We use that information to respond to your request and coordinate the activity you asked about.
Our website is hosted through GitHub Pages. Like most hosting providers, GitHub may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, referring page, pages requested, and the date and time of a request. This information is used by the provider to deliver, maintain, and secure the service. We do not use those logs to create individual visitor profiles.
Cookies and Third-Party Services
We do not intentionally set first-party cookies. Some pages load services provided by other companies:
- Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces.
- Google Maps provides embedded venue maps.
- Hometown Ticketing handles ticket purchases.
- BoosterHub handles donations, Booster membership registration, sponsorships, volunteer communications, and other operational activities.
- Google Sites, Google Drive, social networks, and the theatre merchandise store host resources linked from this website.
Embedded services may receive technical information from your browser and may use cookies according to their own privacy policies. When you follow a link to another website, the privacy practices of that service apply.
How We Use and Share Information
We use information provided to us to answer questions, coordinate volunteers, process sponsorship or Booster inquiries, maintain the website, and protect the site and its visitors. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may share information when necessary to fulfill your request, comply with law, protect safety or legal rights, or work with service providers supporting the activity you requested. Payments and transactions are handled by the applicable third-party service rather than this website.
Student Information and Children’s Privacy
This is a general-audience informational website. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Children under 13 should not send personal information to us without the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.
The site may publish approved production photographs, cast or crew credits, student leadership information, and other theatre-related recognition. To request a correction or removal, contact the Boosters at the address below.
Retention and Security
We keep email correspondence and other voluntarily supplied information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was provided, organizational records, safety, or legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices
You may adjust your browser settings to limit cookies or other third-party technologies, although embedded content may not function as expected. You may also ask us to correct or delete personal information you previously provided directly to the Boosters, subject to any records we must retain for legitimate organizational or legal purposes.
